Time to get going on the Opel

Ok so now we are into the new year it’s time to really get going with the Opel. I have the new rad and water pump that arrived back in November so the only real bit that will hold me up are trying to get some silicon water hoses and the exhaust manifold apart from that I think I have most of the bits. Manta A Aluminum Rad

I use to have loads of cooling problems when i have the Opel running on twin carbs and now im going to be running a full weber alpha throttle bodies when the engine is back together, i have been trying to sort out a better rad. I found this one which is a direct replacement for the stock one. But at £370.13 (inc VAT) its a bit steep, so after a bit of googleing i have found this one at a much better price. Testing the BMW 316 angel eyes in the Opel

I always liked the BMW angel eyes and thought they would look very cool in the Opel, so after a bit of searching i found out that a BMW 316 has the same size lights as the Opel!!
